Baccarat Regulations
Baccarat is played with eight decks of cards. Cards than are of a value less than 10 are counted at their printed value while 10, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each applied a value of 1. Bets are placed on the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual gamblers; they purely depict the two hands to be given out).
Two hands of two cards will then be given out to the ‘banker’ as well as ‘player’. The value for any hand will be the grand total of the two cards, but the very first digit is dropped. For example, a hand of seven and five has a total score of 2 (sevenplusfive=12; drop the ‘one’).
A third card could be dealt depending on the foll. protocols:
- If the bettor or banker has a value of 8 or 9, then both players stand.
- If the player has 5 or less, he/she hits. Players stand otherwise.
- If gambler stands, the banker hits of five or less. If the bettor hits, a chart is used to determine if the banker stands or hits.
Baccarat Odds
The larger of the 2 scores wins. Winning stakes on the banker pay at nineteen to twenty (even money less a five % commission. Commission is monitored and cleared out when you leave the table so make sure to have funds still before you leave). Winning bets on the player pay one to 1. Winner bets for tie generally pay 8 to 1 and sometimes nine to one. (This is a bad gamble as ties occur less than one every 10 hands. be wary of placing bets on a tie. Nonetheless odds are substantially better – 9 to 1 versus 8 to 1)
When played smartly, baccarat provides pretty decent odds, aside from the tie bet of course.
Baccarat Tactics
As with many games, Baccarat has some established false impressions. 1 of which is close to a roulette myth. The past is not an actual indicator of future outcomes. Keeping track of last conclusions on a chart is definitely a complete waste of paper … a slap in the face for the tree that gave its life to be used as our stationary.
The most established and possibly most successful method is the 1-three-2-6 concept. This scheme is deployed to magnify wins and lowering risk.
start by betting 1 unit. If you win, add 1 more to the 2 on the table for a total of three on the second bet. If you win you will have six on the table, take away 4 so you have 2 on the third wager. If you win the 3rd gamble, add two to the four on the table for a grand total of 6 on the fourth gamble.
If you lose on the initial wager, you suck up a loss of one. A win on the first bet followed by loss on the 2nd causes a loss of 2. Wins on the 1st two with a loss on the third gives you a profit of 2. And wins on the first three with a loss on the fourth mean you breakeven. Arriving at a win on all four bets leaves you with 12, a profit of ten. Therefore you can get beaten the second bet 5 times for every successful streak of 4 bets and still break even.
