Punto Banco Regulations and Plan

Baccarat Principles

Baccarat banque is enjoyed with 8 decks in a dealer’s shoe. Cards below ten are valued at their printed number while at the same time Ten, Jack, Queen, King are zero, and A is 1. Wagers are made on the ‘bank’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these are not really people; they just represent the 2 hands to be dealt).

Two hands of 2 cards are then dealt to the ‘house’ and ‘gambler’. The score for each hand is the sum of the two cards, however the first number is discarded. e.g., a hand of five and six has a value of one (five plus 6 equals 11; ignore the 1st ‘1′).

A third card could be dealt using the rules below:

- If the gambler or house achieves a score of eight or nine, both players hold.

- If the gambler has less than five, he takes a card. Players stands otherwise.

- If the gambler stays, the bank takes a card on a value lower than five. If the player takes a card, a table is used to decide if the house stays or hits.

Punto Banco Odds

The greater of the two scores wins. Winning wagers on the house pay out 19 to 20 (even money minus a 5% commission. The Rake is recorded and cleared out when you leave the table so be sure to still have money left over just before you head out). Winning wagers on the player pays 1 to 1. Winning bets for tie usually pays out at 8:1 but sometimes nine to one. (This is a bad wager as ties occur lower than one in every 10 hands. Avoid gambling on a tie. Although odds are substantially better for 9:1 versus eight to one)

Bet on properly baccarat gives generally decent odds, aside from the tie bet of course.

Baccarat Method

As with all games Baccarat has quite a few general myths. One of which is similar to a absurdity in roulette. The past isn’t a fore-teller of events yet to happen. Keeping track of previous results at a table is a bad use of paper and a snub to the tree that gave its life for our paper desires.

The most familiar and probably the most accomplished method is the one-three-two-six tactic. This technique is used to pump up profits and minimizing losses.

Start by betting 1 dollar. If you succeed, add one more to the 2 on the game table for a grand total of three units on the second bet. Should you win you will now have six on the game table, remove four so you are left with 2 on the 3rd bet. Should you come away with a win on the third wager, add two to the 4 on the table for a sum total of six on the fourth round.

Should you don’t win on the first round, you take a loss of 1. A win on the 1st wager followed by a loss on the second causes a loss of two. Wins on the initial 2 with a hit on the 3rd provides you with a gain of 2. And wins on the 1st three with a hit on the 4th means you balance the books. Winning at all four wagers gives you with 12, a profit of 10. This means you are able to give up the second wager 5 instances for each favorable run of four bets and still break even.
