Punto Banco Standards
Baccarat chemin de fer is played with eight decks in a dealer’s shoe. Cards under ten are worth their printed number while Ten, Jack, Queen, King are zero, and Ace is one. Bets are made on the ‘bank’, the ‘player’, or on a tie (these are not really people; they simply represent the 2 hands to be dealt).
Two hands of 2 cards are then dealt to the ‘house’ and ‘player’. The total for every hand is the sum of the two cards, but the first number is ignored. For example, a hand of five and six has a total of one (five plus six equals 11; ditch the first ‘one’).
A third card might be given out using the rules below:
- If the player or house gets a total of eight or nine, both players stay.
- If the player has five or less, he takes a card. Players otherwise stay.
- If the player stays, the house hits on five or less. If the gambler hits, a chart is employed to determine if the house stays or hits.
Punto Banco Odds
The better of the two hands wins. Winning bets on the bank payout nineteen to Twenty (equal cash minus a five percent commission. The Rake is recorded and cleared out when you quit the game so make sure you still have cash left over before you leave). Winning wagers on the gambler pays out at one to one. Winning bets for tie normally pays 8 to 1 but on occasion 9 to 1. (This is a bad bet as ties occur less than one in every 10 hands. Avoid putting money on a tie. However odds are astonishingly better for 9 to 1 versus eight to one)
Wagered on correctly punto banco gives pretty good odds, aside from the tie bet of course.
Baccarat Chemin de Fer Method
As with all games baccarat banque has quite a few common misunderstandings. One of which is close to a myth in roulette. The past is not a prophecy of future outcomes. Keeping score of past results at a table is a poor use of paper and an affront to the tree that was cut down for our stationary desires.
The most established and probably the most favorable method is the one, three, two, six method. This method is used to build up winnings and limit risk.
Begin by betting one dollar. If you win, add another to the 2 on the game table for a sum total of three units on the second bet. If you succeed you will have six on the game table, remove four so you have two on the 3rd bet. If you succeed on the third round, put down 2 on the four on the table for a total of six on the fourth wager.
Should you lose on the 1st bet, you take a loss of 1. A profit on the first wager followed by a loss on the 2nd causes a hit of two. Wins on the first 2 with a hit on the third provides you with a gain of 2. And success on the first 3 with a hit on the 4th means you experience no loss. Winning at all four bets leaves you with twelve, a take of ten. This means you will be able to not win on the 2nd round 5 times for each favorable run of four bets and in the end, experience no loss.
