Rules of Baccarat

Baccarat Procedures

Baccarat is played with eight decks of cards in a shoe. Cards which are valued under ten are counted at their printed number while ten, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each applied a value of 1. Wagers are placed on the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual people; they merely portray the two hands to be played).

Two hands of 2 cards will now be dealt to the ‘banker’ … ‘player’. The value for any hand shall be the total of the 2 cards, but the initial digit is dropped. For e.g., a hand of 7 and 5 gives a total of 2 (sevenplus5=twelve; drop the ‘1′).

A third card can be given out depending on the following guidelines:

- If the bettor or banker has a total of eight or 9, both bettors stand.

- If the gambler has five or less, he hits. bettors stand otherwise.

- If gambler stands, the banker hits of 5 or less. If the player hits, a chart will be used to figure if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The larger of the two scores will be the winner. Successful bets on the banker pay out 19 to 20 (even odds less a 5% commission. Commission is monitored and paid out when you leave the table so be sure to have funds left over before you leave). Winning bets on the player pay 1 to one. Winning bets for tie customarily pays eight to 1 and sometimes nine to one. (This is a terrible wager as ties occur lower than 1 every 10 hands. be wary of laying money on a tie. Nonetheless odds are significantly better – 9 to one vs. eight to 1)

Played correctly, baccarat offers generally decent odds, away from the tie wager ofcourse.

Baccarat Tactics

As with every games, Baccarat has some established false impressions. 1 of which is quite similar to a roulette myth. The past is surely not a predictor of future happenings. Staying abreast of past results on a chart is a total waste of paper as well as a slap in the face for the tree that gave its life for our stationary needs.

The most accepted and almost certainly most successful strategy is the 1-3-2-6 concept. This process is used to pump up earnings and limiting risk.

commence by wagering 1 unit. If you win, add 1 more to the 2 on the table for a total of three on the 2nd bet. If you win you will have six on the table, take away four so you have two on the third bet. If you win the third bet, add 2 to the 4 on the table for a value of six on the fourth wager.

If you don’t win on the first wager, you suck up a loss of 1. A win on the first bet quickly followed by loss on the 2nd creates a loss of two. Wins on the first 2 with a loss on the 3rd gives you a profit of two. And wins on the first 3 with a loss on the fourth mean you come out even. Arriving at a win on all four bets leaves you with twelve, a profit of 10. Thus that you can lose the second bet 5 times for every successful streak of 4 bets and still break even.
