Punto Banco Rules and Method

Baccarat Chemin de Fer Policies

Baccarat chemin de fer is enjoyed with eight decks in a dealing shoe. Cards below ten are valued at their printed number and with Ten, Jack, Queen, King are zero, and A is 1. Wagers are placed on the ‘banker’, the ‘player’, or on a tie (these aren’t actual people; they just represent the 2 hands to be dealt).

Two hands of 2 cards are then dealt to the ‘bank’ and ‘gambler’. The score for every hand is the sum of the 2 cards, but the 1st digit is dumped. For instance, a hand of five and 6 has a total of 1 (5 plus six equals eleven; dump the 1st ‘1′).

A third card can be dealt depending on the following rules:

- If the player or bank achieves a value of 8 or 9, both players stay.

- If the gambler has 5 or lower, she hits. Players otherwise hold.

- If the player stands, the bank takes a card on a value less than 5. If the gambler hits, a guide is used to figure out if the banker holds or takes a card.

Baccarat Banque Odds

The greater of the 2 hands wins. Winning bets on the house payout nineteen to Twenty (equal cash less a 5% rake. The Rake is recorded and cleared out when you depart the game so make sure you still have money around before you quit). Winning bets on the player pays out at one to one. Winning bets for a tie usually pay 8 to 1 but occasionally 9:1. (This is a awful wager as ties occur lower than one in every 10 rounds. Be wary of betting on a tie. However odds are substantially better for 9 to 1 versus 8 to 1)

Played correctly baccarat gives generally good odds, aside from the tie bet of course.

Baccarat Chemin de Fer Course of Action

As with all games Baccarat has quite a few general false impressions. One of which is similar to a false impression in roulette. The past is not a harbinger of future actions. Tracking previous results on a chart is a poor use of paper and a snub to the tree that surrendered its life for our paper desires.

The most familiar and possibly the most successful course of action is the one, three, two, six method. This plan is employed to maximize profits and limit losses.

Begin by betting 1 chip. If you win, add another to the 2 on the game table for a sum total of 3 units on the second bet. If you win you will have 6 on the table, remove 4 so you keep 2 on the third wager. Should you win the 3rd wager, deposit 2 to the 4 on the table for a sum total of 6 on the fourth round.

If you do not win on the initial bet, you take a loss of 1. A profit on the first bet followed by a hit on the second brings about a hit of two. Wins on the first 2 with a loss on the 3rd gives you with a profit of two. And wins on the first three with a loss on the fourth means you experience no loss. Winning at all 4 wagers leaves you with 12, a gain of 10. This means you can give up the second wager 5 instances for each favorable run of four rounds and still experience no loss.
