Baccarat Practices and Method

Baccarat Chemin de Fer Principles

Baccarat chemin de fer is enjoyed with eight decks of cards in a dealing shoe. Cards below 10 are counted at face value while 10, J, Q, K are zero, and A is one. Wagers are placed on the ‘banker’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these are not really people; they just represent the 2 hands to be dealt).

Two hands of two cards are then dealt to the ‘house’ and ‘gambler’. The value for every hand is the sum total of the cards, however the 1st number is dumped. For instance, a hand of five and 6 has a value of one (five plus 6 equals eleven; ditch the 1st ‘one’).

A 3rd card may be dealt using the following rules:

- If the gambler or house gets a value of eight or nine, both players stand.

- If the player has 5 or less, he hits. Players holds otherwise.

- If the player holds, the house hits on 5 or lower. If the player hits, a chart is used to figure out if the banker holds or hits.

Punto Banco Odds

The larger of the 2 scores wins. Winning bets on the bank pay out nineteen to Twenty (equal cash less a 5 percent commission. The Rake is kept track of and cleared out once you quit the table so ensure you still have cash left just before you depart). Winning wagers on the gambler pay 1:1. Winning bets for tie normally pays out at 8:1 but on occasion nine to one. (This is a poor bet as a tie occurs lower than one in every ten hands. Be wary of gambling on a tie. Although odds are substantially greater for nine to one vs. eight to one)

Wagered on properly baccarat banque offers fairly good odds, aside from the tie wager of course.

Punto Banco Method

As with all games baccarat banque has a handful of general misconceptions. One of which is similar to a misunderstanding in roulette. The past isn’t a harbinger of events about to happen. Recording previous results on a chart is a waste of paper and an insult to the tree that surrendered its life for our paper desires.

The most familiar and probably the most acknowledged strategy is the one-three-two-six plan. This tactic is deployed to pump up winnings and limit risk.

Start by placing one unit. If you win, add 1 more to the 2 on the table for a sum of 3 units on the second bet. If you win you will hold six on the game table, take away 4 so you keep two on the third bet. If you win the third round, deposit two to the four on the game table for a total of six on the fourth wager.

Should you don’t win on the first round, you take a hit of one. A win on the first bet followed by a hit on the second brings about a loss of 2. Success on the initial two with a hit on the 3rd provides you with a profit of two. And success on the 1st 3 with a defeat on the 4th means you experience no loss. Winning all 4 bets leaves you with 12, a take of ten. This means you will be able to squander the 2nd wager five times for every favorable run of 4 rounds and in the end, experience no loss.
