Baccarat Rules

Baccarat Regulations

Baccarat is played with 8 decks of cards. Cards which are of a value less than ten are said to be at their printed number while at the same time 10, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each given a value of 1. Wagers are placed on the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual people; they simply act as the two hands to be given out).

2 hands of two cards shall then be given to the ‘banker’ and ‘player’. The score for each hand shall be the grand total of the two cards, but the initial digit is dumped. For e.g., a hand of seven … 5 gives a tally of two (sevenplus5=twelve; drop the ‘one’).

A 3rd card might be given out depending on the foll. rules:

- If the gambler or banker has a score of 8 or 9, both gamblers stand.

- If the bettor has five or lower, he hits. bettors stand otherwise.

- If gambler stands, the banker hits of 5 or lower. If the gambler hits, a chart will be used to judge if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The higher of the 2 scores wins. Successful stakes on the banker pay out nineteen to twenty (even odds less a 5% commission. Commission is kept track of and cleared out when you leave the table so make sure you have dollars left before you leave). Bets on the player that end up winning pay one to one. Winner bets for tie typically pay out eight to 1 but on occasion nine to 1. (This is a bad bet as ties happen lower than one every 10 hands. Run away from betting on a tie. Regardless odds are far better – nine to 1 versus eight to one)

When done accurately, baccarat presents pretty good odds, away from the tie bet obviously.

Baccarat Tactics

As with all games, Baccarat has some established misunderstandings. One of which is quite similar to a roulette myth. The past is not an actual indicator of future results. Monitoring of previous results on a chart is a total waste of paper and an insult to the tree that gave its life to be used as our stationary.

The most established and possibly most successful technique is the 1-3-2-six method. This schema is deployed to magnify payout and limiting risk.

commence by betting one unit. If you win, add one more to the 2 on the table for a total of three on the 2nd bet. If you win you will have 6 on the table, subtract 4 so you have 2 on the third bet. If you win the third gamble, add two to the four on the table for a sum of 6 on the fourth gamble.

If you lose on the 1st wager, you take a loss of 1. A win on the first bet quickly followed by loss on the second will create a loss of 2. Wins on the first two with a loss on the 3rd gives you a profit of two. And wins on the first three with a loss on the fourth mean you come out even. Winning at all four bets leaves you with 12, a profit of ten. Therefore you can fail to win the second bet 5 times for every successful streak of 4 bets and still break even.
