Baccarat Standards
Punto banco is enjoyed with 8 decks of cards in a shoe. Cards below 10 are counted at their printed number while at the same time 10, J, Q, K are zero, and Ace is one. Bets are made on the ‘banker’, the ‘player’, or on a tie (these are not really people; they just represent the 2 hands to be dealt).
Two hands of 2 cards are then dealt to the ‘bank’ and ‘gambler’. The total for every hand is the total of the two cards, but the first digit is discarded. For instance, a hand of five and six has a score of one (five plus 6 equals eleven; dump the 1st ‘1′).
A 3rd card can be dealt depending on the rules below:
- If the player or house achieves a total of eight or nine, both players stay.
- If the player has 5 or less, he hits. Players otherwise stand.
- If the player stays, the banker takes a card on a value less than five. If the gambler hits, a table is employed to determine if the bank holds or hits.
Baccarat Chemin de Fer Odds
The better of the 2 scores wins. Winning wagers on the bank pay out 19:20 (equal money minus a five percent commission. The Rake is recorded and cleared out when you quit the table so make sure you have cash remaining just before you depart). Winning bets on the player pay one to one. Winning bets for tie frequently pays 8 to 1 but sometimes 9:1. (This is a poor wager as ties occur lower than one in every 10 rounds. Avoid gambling on a tie. Although odds are substantially better for 9:1 versus 8 to 1)
Wagered on correctly baccarat provides fairly decent odds, apart from the tie bet of course.
Baccarat Banque Method
As with all games baccarat banque has some established false impressions. One of which is the same as a absurdity in roulette. The past is not a fore-teller of events about to happen. Keeping track of previous outcomes on a page of paper is a bad use of paper and an insult to the tree that was cut down for our paper needs.
The most established and possibly the most successful method is the one-three-two-six method. This method is used to maximize earnings and minimizing losses.
Start by wagering one chip. If you succeed, add one more to the 2 on the table for a sum of 3 chips on the second bet. If you succeed you will retain 6 on the game table, take away 4 so you are left with two on the 3rd bet. If you come away with a win on the third round, put down 2 on the four on the game table for a grand total of six on the 4th bet.
If you lose on the initial bet, you take a loss of 1. A profit on the first round followed by a loss on the 2nd causes a loss of two. Wins on the initial two with a defeat on the 3rd provides you with a profit of 2. And wins on the initial three with a defeat on the fourth means you balance the books. Winning all 4 bets gives you with twelve, a take of 10. This means you will be able to not win on the second round 5 instances for each favorable streak of 4 bets and still are even.
