Baccarat Procedures

Baccarat is played with 8 decks of cards. Cards under ten are said to be at face value while at the same time 10, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each applied a value of 1. Wagers are placed upon the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual players; they simply represent the 2 hands to be given out).

2 hands of two cards will now be dealt to the ‘banker’ and ‘player’. The value for each hand shall be the sum of the two cards, but the initial digit is removed. For example, a hand of 7 and five results in a tally of 2 (7plus5=twelve; drop the ‘1′).

A third card could be given depending on the foll. standards:

- If the gambler or banker has a total of eight or nine, both bettors stand.

- If the bettor has five or lower, he hits. gamblers stand otherwise.

- If gambler stands, the banker hits of five or less. If the player hits, a chart is used to judge if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The greater of the two scores is the winner. Victorious bets on the banker pay at 19 to twenty (even money minus a five % commission. Commission is tracked and cleared out when you leave the table so make sure you have funds remaining before you leave). Winning bets on the player pay 1 to 1. Winner bets for tie typically pay 8 to 1 but on occasion 9 to one. (This is a bad gamble as ties occur lower than one every 10 hands. abstain from laying money on a tie. Still, odds are actually better – 9 to 1 vs. 8 to one)

When done accurately, baccarat presents pretty decent odds, away from the tie bet obviously.

Baccarat Strategy

As with most games, Baccarat has some well-known misunderstandings. 1 of which is similar to a roulette misconception. The past is never actually an actual indicator of future actions. Staying abreast of last outcomes on a chart is simply a total waste of paper … a slap in the face for the tree that gave its life to be used as our stationary.

The most commonly used and probably most successful technique is the one-3-2-six method. This method is employed to amplify successes and reducing risk.

start by wagering one unit. If you win, add 1 more to the two on the table for a total of 3 on the second bet. If you win you will have 6 on the table, take away four so you have two on the 3rd wager. If you win the third bet, add two to the four on the table for a value of 6 on the fourth wager.

If you lose on the 1st bet, you take a loss of 1. A win on the 1st bet quickly followed by loss on the 2nd causes a loss of two. Wins on the 1st 2 with a loss on the 3rd gives you a profit of two. And wins on the first 3 with a loss on the fourth mean you come out even. Getting a win on all four bets leaves you with twelve, a profit of ten. Thus you can get beaten the 2nd bet 5 times for every successful streak of four bets and still break even.
