Baccarat Procedures

Baccarat is played with eight decks of cards. Cards below a value of ten are said to be at face value whereas 10, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each given a value of 1. Bets are placed on the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual contenders; they purely appear as the two hands to be played).

Two hands of two cards shall then be played to the ‘banker’ as well as ‘player’. The value for every hand shall be the total of the two cards, but the very first digit is dropped. For eg, a hand of 7 … 5 results in a score of 2 (7plusfive=12; drop the ‘1′).

A third card may be played depending on the foll. regulations:

- If the bettor or banker has a total score of 8 or nine, then both bettors stand.

- If the gambler has 5 or lower, he hits. gamblers stand otherwise.

- If bettor stands, the banker hits of 5 or lower. If the player hits, a chart will be used in order to determine if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The greater of the two scores is the winner. Successful wagers on the banker payout 19 to 20 (even odds minus a five percent commission. Commission is monitored and moved out when you leave the table so ensure that you have cash left over before you leave). Winning bets on the player pay one to 1. Winner bets for tie usually pays 8 to one and on occasion nine to one. (This is a terrible wager as ties will happen less than one every ten hands. Run away from putting money on a tie. However odds are positively better – nine to one versus eight to 1)

When played correctly, baccarat provides relatively good odds, away from the tie wager ofcourse.

Baccarat Tactics

As with many games, Baccarat has some established myths. 1 of which is similar to a misconception of roulette. The past is not a predictor of future outcomes. Tracking of prior conclusions on a chart is simply a total waste of paper as well as an insult to the tree that gave its life to be used as our stationary.

The most popular and almost certainly most successful method is the one-three-two-6 method. This scheme is employed to increase winnings and controlling risk.

commence by betting one unit. If you win, add 1 more to the two on the table for a total of 3 on the second bet. If you win you will have 6 on the table, clear away 4 so you have two on the 3rd gamble. If you win the 3rd bet, add 2 to the 4 on the table for a sum total of 6 on the fourth bet.

If you lose on the 1st bet, you take a loss of one. A win on the 1st bet followed up by loss on the second brings about a loss of 2. Wins on the 1st 2 with a loss on the third gives you a profit of two. And wins on the first three with a loss on the 4th mean you come out even. Coming out on top on all four bets leaves you with twelve, a profit of 10. Thus that you can lose the 2nd bet 5 times for every successful streak of 4 bets and still break even.
