Baccarat Protocols

Baccarat is played with 8 decks of cards. Cards that are valued under 10 are counted at face value whereas ten, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each applied a value of 1. Wagers are placed upon the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual people; they only symbolize the 2 hands to be played).

2 hands of two cards shall then be played to the ‘banker’ … ‘player’. The value for any hand will be the total of the two cards, but the 1st digit is dropped. For eg, a hand of 7 as well as five gives a total score of two (sevenplus5=12; drop the ‘1′).

A third card can be given depending on the following rules:

- If the gambler or banker has a score of eight or nine, the two bettors stand.

- If the player has 5 or lower, he/she hits. bettors stand otherwise.

- If player stands, the banker hits of 5 or lower. If the gambler hits, a chart will be used to judge if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The higher of the two scores will be the winner. Successful wagers on the banker pay out 19 to 20 (even odds minus a 5% commission. Commission is monitored and moved out when you leave the table so be sure to have money left before you leave). Winning bets on the player pay one to 1. Winner bets for tie normally pay out eight to 1 but occasionally nine to 1. (This is a bad gamble as ties will happen less than one every ten hands. Avoid placing bets on a tie. Nonetheless odds are exceedingly better – 9 to 1 vs. eight to one)

When done accurately, baccarat presents pretty good odds, apart from the tie wager of course.

Baccarat Strategy

As with all games, Baccarat has some well-known misconceptions. 1 of which is quite similar to a roulette misconception. The past is not an actual indicator of future outcomes. Staying abreast of old outcomes on a chart is for sure a waste of paper and a slap in the face for the tree that gave its life for our stationary needs.

The most popular and feasibly most successful tactic is the one-3-2-six technique. This technique is deployed to pump up successes and lowering risk.

start by betting 1 unit. If you win, add one more to the 2 on the table for a total of 3 on the second bet. If you win you will have six on the table, clear away 4 so you have two on the 3rd gamble. If you win the 3rd bet, add two to the four on the table for a total of six on the fourth wager.

If you lose on the first bet, you suck up a loss of 1. A win on the first bet followed up by loss on the 2nd will create a loss of two. Wins on the first two with a loss on the third gives you a profit of 2. And wins on the first three with a loss on the 4th mean you break even. Coming away with a win on all four bets leaves you with 12, a profit of ten. This means that you can get beaten the 2nd bet 5 times for every successful streak of 4 bets and still break even.
